Authentic Chinese Food: The Hap Chan Menu

The Hap Chan Tea House Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet

A delight to the taste buds and a winner for all age groups

Delicious in every sense of the word, this Hap Chan menu is composed of flavorful fish fillet that’s deep fried with breading that allows it to be crispy even after a few minutes later. Inside, fish is juicy and flavored just right while outside the breading has a milder flavor to enhance the whole fillet taste. Sweet and sour sauce meanwhile is poured over the fillet and I tell you, Hap Chan restaurant does a great job of creating this sauce. Red and thick in appearance, it has shreds of carrots and onions which in my opinion improves the sauce’s taste. Hap Chan Makati offers this Hap Chan menu in pork and chicken version and it’s a great viand any time of the day.

The Hap Chan Tea House Roasted Peking Duck

Filipinos do not often get the chance to taste a roasted Peking duck but once eaten in Hap Chan restaurant, they might just recommend it to everyone making it a favorite Chinese dish.

The Hap Chan Tea House roasted Peking duck is one of the best cooking we’ve ever tasted in a long time. The duck is roasted in a way that the meat stays soft inside at the same time preserving that natural meaty flavor. Looking at it is simply mouth watering, its dark and juicy skin will just invite you to dig in. Slicing the tender meat, you will notice its natural juices flow onto the skin and down to the plate which makes the dish all the more appetizing, yummy. Hap Chan Makati again did a wonderful work in doing this recipe for you can tell by the taste that the duck is fresh and has all its natural flavors but with the presence of a distinct and unique extra flavor only their cooks could have incorporated. All in all, we recommend you try this Hap Chan menu.

The Hap Chan Tea House Mapo Tofu

A simple dish with intricate flavors, it’s sure to be loved. I personally favor this simple dish for it is new to my taste despite having tokwa’t baboy for a very long time. At Hap Chan restaurant, the combination of pork and tofu is creatively and masterfully cooked to a dish that’s tasting more than just ordinary. For instance, the tofu is not just prepared in an ordinary way but it had been seasoned first to have a distinct chili and meaty flavor while the pork cubes have been made tender. This Hap Chan restaurant recipe has thick and richly flavored sauce which waiters reveal to have come from Hong Kong. The Mapo Tofu is garnished with onions and onion leaves and is great with steamed rice. I love this dish and I recommend you try it, it’s affordable and very different from our own tokwa’t baboy.
